Sharing database question

can you share the opening and end game DB please ?

I think this is going to warrant its own discussion so moved this to a new topic. I hope you don’t mind.

I can’t share the endgame database, it’s not mine. I got permission from Ed Gilbert to use his KingsRow engine and database in my puzzle finding program. There was some gnarly code required to drive a windows dll from a ruby script on a linux box but it worked.

And the opening database was downloaded from Martin Fierz’s website. Look for the “Open Checkers Archive”. The opening database is exactly those games (minus some duplicates and transcription errors) stored in an sql database instead of a text file.

Does this help? I can talk about some implementation details if you’re curious.

no worries i understand i am also creating a website where users can play against computer with different levels but ill figure out
