Can anyone see where W move 19-15 is a good move? 19-16 seems much better to me…

For problem 3116 on move 7. 19-16 saves the piece and wins where 19-15 lets red take it. As for why the engine prefers 19-15, I have to guess a little. But I believe giving up the piece frees white’s king from the corner on 4 which lets it come out to attack and win the checker on 6. This trade helps the engine see into the database and the final win.
But I agree, there are lots more intuitive wins, especially on move 5, bringing the king out earlier.
