1442 has no choice for red, just force jumps to win.
Hmm, I think you have the wrong problem. Problem 1442 needs a piece pitched at the start.
Do you mean problem 1443? That one is almost entirely autopilot, but there are two possible jumps at the start of the problem. So it is quite easy but someone was careless and chose the wrong capture. That puzzle is going to get a low rating and only beginners will see it.
There are a few problems like this where one capture is the correct move and the other gets ‘try again’ with no way to get the problem wrong. Those I disable. So thanks for the bug report, I appreciate it. But I think these are both ok.
