I just added a bunch of features for user content and customization. The news page has the details but check out the new settings page to choose your board and pieces. And the new problems page to vote for and comment on your favorite puzzles.
Also, there is a new difficulty option to play from the top, it’s tough but seeing your opponent’s threats is just as important as finding your own opportunities.
